    Sr. .NET Architect

    About dhango

dhango is a modern payments orchestration and infrastructure platform built for SaaS companies, marketplaces, and ISVs. We make it dramatically easier and faster for platforms to embed payments, monetize transaction flows, maintain control of their data and contracts, and optimize revenue — all with a single integration. Backed by strong banking and processor partnerships, we help our customers go live quickly while giving them flexibility across processors.

    Role Overview

We're looking for a senior .NET architect to work alongside a small team of fellow architects. AI has made generating code faster; the bottleneck is understanding the domain and reviewing that code thoroughly. You'll get up to speed on our systems, help shape technical decisions, and make sure changes are correct, maintainable, and right for the product.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Understand the domain: Learn the product, its workflows, and the existing .NET codebase so your architectural decisions and reviews account for real business requirements.

    • Review code thoroughly: Evaluate changes for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and test coverage. Give specific, actionable feedback and follow issues through to resolution.

    • Work with fellow architects: Collaborate closely with a small team of architects to assess tradeoffs, guide implementation, and keep the system coherent as it evolves.

    • Use AI responsibly: Work with Codex and/or Claude Code to speed up development while applying the same careful review to AI-generated code as to any other contribution.

    What We're Looking For

    • 7+ years of professional experience working with .NET.

    • Hands-on experience with Codex and/or Claude Code.

    • A strong track record of thorough code reviews that go beyond style and syntax to find design, correctness, and maintainability issues.

    • Ability to get up to speed on an unfamiliar domain and use that context to make sound technical judgments.

    • Comfort collaborating with other architects on a small team and explaining technical tradeoffs clearly.

    • Applicants must be based in the U.S. and be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders). Visa sponsorship is not available.

If you care as much about validating and improving code as you do about producing it, we'd like to hear from you.
